Proposal Statement from Cycling experts:
There should be greater research into behavioural change and cycling in Dublin, with particular attention to socially excluded groups. In parallel, the benefits of cycling should be promoted in terms of quality of live and as part of Dublin’s civic identity. Snobby attitudes from cyclists and non-cyclists should be challenged.
Question:
As we all know, there are often strained relationships between motorists, cyclists and pedestrians. How can we improve this situation?

Have a level playing field for starters. How many cyclists and pedestrians put themselves in peril by their attitudes?
A red light means stop for all road users.
Greater enforcement of the Rules of the Road would be a good start.
